Restaurant Review of Rosewood Grill Westlake Ohio - Cleveland Article
Best Cleveland Area Restaurants
The location, directly across from shopping mecca Crocker Park, is convenient and very accessible. The Rosewood Grill Westlake restaurant is very clean, modern, spacious and comfortable! Parking is also plentiful. The management team here was extremely hospitable and we were made to feel at home right away. Service was also well timed and we really had a great overall experience, on top of the fabulous food!
We had heard much about the new chef here and wanted to experience as many of his delectable dishes as we were able! I must say that the entire meal, from the first bite of appetizer to the last bite of Key Lime Cheesecake, exceeded our expectations and left us feeling pleasantly full and in a very happy mood.

We started with the sushi shots and Blue Point Oysters. The sushi shots consist of #1 grade seared rare ahi tuna, guacamole, wasabi-soy all served together in wonton cups. This was a new concept we had not yet experienced and boy were they fabulous! The Blue Point Oysters were chilled perfectly and the sauces included for dipping added a nice finish. We were off to an excellent start!
We sampled several main dishes including the Pan Roasted Bay of Maine Salmon, Prime Rib Hash, Center Cut Filet and Maine Lobster Frittata.
The Pan Roasted Bay of Maine Salmon was cooked and seasoned perfectly and served over a crispy quinoa spinach potato cake, summer salsa, asparagus along with a balsamic drizzle. Every bite was sensational and that plate was finished quickly!
The Prime Rib Hash was my favorite and a nice departure from the typical corned beef hash you frequently find on local menus. The Prime Rib was shaved thin and piled high on top of home fries, caramelized onions, roasted red peppers, sunnyside eggs and horseradish aioli. Can’t wait to do this one again!
The Center Cut Filet was also cooked to perfection and the combination of the cabernet demi-glace, redskin mashers & sautéed asparagus were absolutely perfect companions to the tender perfectly-cooked meat and together really helped to highlight the superb quality of the beef!
The Maine Lobster Frittata was - you guessed it - totally out of this world! The pairing of the cold water lobster, French brie and baby spinach made the perfect dish and it also disappeared very quickly!

For dessert we chose the aforementioned Key Lime Cheesecake. Complete with Chantilly cream topping and a mixed berry swirl this could almost be an entire meal! The cheesecake was creamy and had just the right amount of key lime flavor. Cleveland is certainly not tropical but it sure felt like it for a few minutes!
We have definigely found a new favorite dining spot here at the Westlake Rosewood Grill just outside of Cleveland, and this location will remain a mainstay for us whenever we are considering where to eat in Cleveland. One thing's for sure - we won’t be able to stay away for long!
