1. See What’s New at the Cleveland Metroparks: Happy 100th anniversary to the Cleveland Metroparks, the “emerald necklace” park system that gorgeously encircles the city of Cleveland. In 2017, check out some of the park system’s new assets, explore a reservation, head over to one of their Lake Erie beach parties or enjoy the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.

On October 14, 2017, Cleveland Ballet will present its first performance as the newest resident company at Playhouse Square, joining existing resident companies Cleveland Play House, Cleveland State University Department of Theatre and Dance, DANCECleveland, Great Lakes Theater and Tri-C JazzFest. The company will perform Les Sylphides with music by Frederic Chopin.
